HUGE Update on Life
Wow, so I think it has been about 6 months since I have updated this blog. Things have been kinda crazy. Tom and I finally found a place to live, just a temporary place, until we can find something that is a little better. The place is not ideal, in a bad nieghborhood, and my garbage can keeps getting stolen!! Overall though we are happy. Tom is working constantly, thank goodness.
We have had the privelege of taking several trips since we have been down here. I was able to go visit my dad in Arizona, and meet my brother for the first time, that was really cool. They took me on a motorcycle ride, that was over 300 miles long...I had never ridden on a motorcycle before that. Two weeks after I returned from that trip, Tom, the kids and myself flew down to Fresno to visit with Toms uncle Dave and his wife Bev. We had a lot of fun down there. (Oh and the kids had fun too!!)
Tom and I hit a few bumps in the road after that trip, but because of Gods Grace, we were able to overcome it and work out the kinks. Sometimes I wish that life was just a cakewalk, and that we dont have to stuggle through all the hardships life throws at you....But then again, I would not have learned as much as I have. All of my life experiences have taught me so much.
Aside from that, everything is going really great. Caylee walks now, knows 5 signs, (sign language), Skyler, Im learning, is very creative artistically. He is very imaginative, he like to practice writing letters and drawing shapes. for a 3 1/2 yr old, he has an amzing talent for seeing something and drawing it how he interprets it. For instance, I will draw an owl, then ask to repete the drawing, he will accually draw the owl EXACTALLY how I drew it. It is trulay amazing to watch your children grow and learn in such monumental ways. I think we have a very intellegent in the making!!
On another note, Tom, the kids and I just recently made another trip down to Fresno to have an early Christmas with his uncle. We truly had a great time. The kids were royally spoiled, and we got to see some great Christmas light displays. We cant wait to see them again.
Tom and I are looking yet again for another place to live. We found something that looks great on the outside, but we still have to check out the rest of it after the current tennants move out. We are second in line for the application. Hopefully we get the place. If not, it will be fine. We have no deadline this time for moving, and when an oportunity presents itself, we can move, or not move on it. I know that God has a plan for or home, and when He decides it is the right time, he will show us the way.
